Choreographic Interventions in the chapel, in the museum, in the vestibular system, in the street, in the slaughterhouse.
Architecture (including infrastructure) and dance are positions of intelligence and have generated multiple forms of differentiation. In Greek myth, they once converged in the story of the Minotaur and Ariadne’s dance. When embodied knowledge is (re)-turned - placed again - into current infrastructures we encounter a situation of incomprehension ’How did we came to know’? Originally, cities were charged with the trace movement leaves. It is in this context that I use the term choreographic interventions for both, sites built in a studio and sites selected in the built environment.
